A Danish Cafe in Old Antibes

It's not difficult to understand why Leslie Daencker decided to open a Danish Café in Antibes. The town is the epitome of the French Riviera, with a large international community, and Leslie, from Copenhagen, along with joint owner Michael Kaysar saw an opportunity to create something new and cosmopolitan. Café Copenhagen, in Rue Thuret, Old Antibes, is trendy, intimate, charmingly Danish and the most wonderful place to chill out and enjoy some great coffee and food.
The café opened in 2006, primarily as a ‘take-away' serving coffee, bagels, smoothies, and delicious Italian ice cream. Situated on a busy pedestrian street, it became increasingly popular and the menu soon extended to a selection of lunches. Everything from salads to Mexican nachos are on offer, alongside a variety of freshly baked bagel sandwiches. Fillings like Chicken, bacon and curry sauce or Salmon, crème fraiche and capers should get your mouth watering! The service is speedy and friendly. This is definitely the place for a light meal.

Don't forget though, Café Copenhagen is a coffee shop, with all the different varieties and WIFI, as well, so you can browse FR2DAY whilst enjoying a relaxing Latte! Not surprisingly Café Copenhagen has become a popular alternative to the traditional French cafés in Old Antibes. Its customers are both French and international but the charm is 100% Danish.
