Spirit of Food is the doyen of fast food emporiums. Diverse food for diverse people should be the motto of this culinary jewel situated a couple of minutes walk behind the Croisette. It's seriously good at pleasing everyone, whatever their tastes or needs. Let's take two random post-party scenarios to illustrate...

Hotel room A (occupant: a man who goes to bed early and wakes up feeling chipper...)
He knows instinctively that it's a beautiful sunny day outside,  without even opening his eyes. For him, it's a joy to be alive and after an early-morning jog, he's off in search of something quick, healthy and wholesome to prepare himself well for another productive day in the film industry.....

Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the corridor....

Hotel room B (occupant: a woman who goes to bed very late and wakes up feeling close to death...)
She's also sure that it's sunny outside but is unable to open her eyes to check. Her lips are stuck to her teeth, her tongue is like fly paper and the person next to her does not appear to be her industry roommate or an immediate relative..... Jogging is out of the question, so she's off in a mad dash in search of comfort food and lots of it.

Guest A needs a simple healthy wok dish, fresh fruit salad and a carrot juice. Guest B, on the other hand, is in desperate need of a double cheeseburger with fries, tiramisu and a triple espresso. The food choice ranges from fabulous boxed takeaway salads and wraps to freshly made wok dishes and pastas. If you can't see what you want, try asking - they'll probably make it for you. Plus you can wash it down with anything from beet juice to Dom Perignon (or both).

They also make great sushi - good for repairing the brain cell damage (Guest B, take note) caused by the previous night's 12 hour mojito marathon. Eat and you'll feel ready for the next one...
