Robbie's Selling Up Again - Because of the Rain!

Anyone thinking of selling up and moving back to the UK should take note. Robbie Williams is selling his country mansion for a £1 million loss because he can't face the British winter, particularly the rain! After just eight short months in England, he and his girlfriend Ayda Field - who bought the 18th century Wiltshire house for £8.5 million in February - have chopped a cool million off the estate's price - so they can get back to sunny LA as quickly as possible.
An insider said: "Robbie is desperate to get things moving quickly rather than hang around just to get a bit more money. Being settled back in the States quickly with Ayda is more important to him. "He's already got a few people interested in the mansion."
Fresh from the success of his BBC Electric Prom concert, the 35-year-old star has previously admitted the sprawling pad - with its own helicopter pad, temples and fountains - was an "impulse buy" when he returned to England after five years in the US. The couple were planning to make it their family home, but quickly became fed up with the gloomy British weather.
Robbie said recently: "Ayda's always wanted to have the change in the seasons complete with winter. The garden is pretty special, a winter wonderland and you just want to get cosy. "Then it comes to summer and the weather doesn't change that much. Then you think, 'Hmm, LA was good'. Every day you wake up you're in the sun. Your body feels different, your mind feels different - so we're going back."

Robbie would like to keep the house but has admitted that it would be too much of a luxury. He added: "I can't really afford to keep it. Maintenance is a lot. I've done a few impulse buys and it leaves you no money." ...... Poor fella!!
Another great boost for Robbie is Michael Buble who says he fancies a duet with him. The Canadian star loves listening to the Robbie's tracks and could certainly see himself collaborating with the 'Bodies' singer in the future. He says, "I'm a huge fan of his and would love to do a duet some time."

Buble (above) also defended Williams after his comeback performance on The X Factor was widely criticised by viewers who speculated the pop star had been drinking or even taking drugs backstage.
He added, "People are very quick to jump on a guy and say 'he's high' or 'he's drunk' but Robbie was getting up on stage for the first time in three years. Give the guy a break. "I can seem a bit loose and apparently some people thought I was drunk. So I felt for Robbie." At least someone does.
