Volupte - The best place for a cuppa in Cannes

Tea is a traditional English pastime, but what do you do if you are craving a cuppa in France? Well, why not head to the Volupte tea shop on the road running parallel behind the Rue D'Antibes. This haven of calm serves every kind of tea you can imagine, from lapsang souchong to your good old English breakfast.

If you're peckish they serve some great ‘petit pains' sandwiches with mouth-watering fillings such as salmon and avocado or roquette, parmesan and bresaola; and unlike most establishments in Cannes this won't break your bank at a mere €5. Larger salad plates are also recommended and, for the seriously naughty, the house crumble is a delight. All in a cosy but contemporary atmosphere with some comfy sofas to lounge on if you get there early.
