Festival Crossover 2011 continues to celebrate musical and artistic diversity on the French Riviera

August already and Crazy Week and the jazz festivals are nearly all behind us. Time then to look forward to the 3rd edition of Festival Crossover, this year taking place in a multitude of venues, spread out across Nice, Cannes and Monaco. And not just concerts, look out for the beach parties, the 'Afters' in various clubs and 'X-tra', something a little different to satisfy those discerning cultural tastes. The event, which runs from 21st to 27th August, boasts a fantastic line-up of acts and events from start to finish.

Opening night, Sunday 21st August, sees La Brasserie in Monaco host the first X-tra event from 10pm - 5am with a great line-up featuring Brodinski, The G.E.E.K. and Pete Kassidy. There are further X-tra events planned on the Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights, around Nice and Cannes.

The concerts kick off on Thursday 25th August in Théâtre de Verdure in Nice. On the bill for the evening look out for Assassin, Fishbone, Scratch Bandits Crew and Pulla. Etienne de Crecy headlines the second and final night of live music on Saturday 26th August, once again in Nice, along with the likes of Hyphen Hyphen and Kelly und Kelly.

Hi Beach and Florida Beach in Nice will once again host the beach parties on the Thursday and Saturday nights respectively. Look out for such names as Michael Mayer, H-Tenza, and No Key Frame to name but a few. There are also plenty of After show events planned around Nice on the Saturday night, taking place in Subway, Le Smarties, Les Deux Frères and Bliss Bar.
