You Don't Have to be American to Celebrate Thanksgiving in Monaco

There will be plenty of roast turkey and all the fixings at MonacoUSA's Thanksgiving Dinner which takes place on Thursday, 24th November at Fusion on the Port. Everyone - members, non-members and friends of all nationalities - are invited to share in America's favorite food holiday. The meal will include an all-you-can-eat buffet and open bar with wine, beer and soft drinks.
It all starts at 19h30 and the sumptuous menu for the evening includes: Roast Turkey, homemade stuffing and gravy, corn on the cob, cornbread, cranberry sauce, creamed onions, sweet potato, green peas, apple, pumpkin & pecan pies & brownies. Now who could resist that!
Tickets cost 45€ per adult, 20€ per child. There will also be a free tambola with great prizes on offer. Please reserve early by sending a cheque payable to STARS'N'BARS, address 6, quai Antoine 1er, 98000 Monaco. Mark THANKSGIVING on the cheque please.

One of the MonacoUSA members, Jennifer Barnaby, has also created a super idea to delight pumpkin pie lovers living here and to help a good cause. For Thanksgiving, she'll be making 20 traditional pumpkin pies through her Monaco-based charitable bakery, Cakes for a Cause. All of the revenue from the sale of the pies will go to either Monaco Aide et Presence or another worthwhile charity, Nepal Youth Opportunity Fund. If you'd love to have a pie and help others at the same time, check out her website.
