The International Club of the Riviera in Association with Galerie Oscar and Events by George! have pleasure in inviting you to our X'Mas Spotlight Charity Cocktail Evening on Thursday 15th December from 7.00 - 9:00pm, at the trendiest gallery in town, Galerie Oscar, in Nice. This is the first of regular Charity Cocktail Evenings hosted by the International Club with the spotlight on different persons, organizations and activities which would be of interest to members and guests!

For our first Cocktail Evening we present the work of two extremely talented members of the Club, Sibilla Bjarnason and Fiona Mackechnie.

Sibilla Bjarnason, a Latvian/Icelandic/Swedish artist, currently living and working in France and one of the most active members of the International Club, is an accomplished artist, a member of the prestigious Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. Sibilla Bjarnason portrays "La femme éternelle" and her art work displays contrast between geometrical forms and subtle, but powerful femininity.

Among the many awards in recognition of her work are:- Gold medal, Olympic Fine Arts 2008, Premio Dea Minerva, Mostra Firenze Olimpia and Premio Internazionale d´Arte Leonardo da Vinci.

Fiona Mackechnie, who specialises in producing distinctive and exciting fine bone china tableware for the private individual, corporate, restaurant, hotel and yacht markets, and in addition, also offer a range of designs from her At your service range that are available to order.

Meet these two exceptionally talented members of our club together with other members and guests over Champagne Cocktails, red and white wine with canapés and finger food, in the exclusive setting of Galerie Oscar which is situated in the picturesque Quartier of the Port of Nice, with easy parking in the car park of the Port of Nice.

This event is sponsored and therefore entirely free of charge for Members of the International Club but a contribution of €5 to be made at the door which will go direct to our Theme Charity. Guests and others will be asked to make a contribution of €8 for the Charity, entitling you to a raffle ticket which will give you a unique opportunity to win a painting donated by Sibilla Bjarnason and a piece of designer tableware from Fiona Mackechnie!

However, in view of the limited space available we can only accommodate 50 persons and bookings will close with the first 50 reservations received!
