First ever Riviera Career and Lifestyle Exhibition a great success!

With close to 200 attendees having passed through the doors of the Career & Lifestyle Exhibition on Tuesday 10th November, organizer Christine Sweeney was delighted with the turnout and the positive feedback throughout the day. Held at the Mercure Hotel in Sophia Antipolis, the exhibition was designed to showcase a range of different businesses and services that could be useful to women wanting to get more out of their lives on the Riviera.

"The Career and Lifestyle event was everything I hoped it would be and more," said Christine. "There were many challenges along the way but the final result and the positive reaction from everyone on the day fulfilled the objective to get as many like-minded people together as possible to encourage and inspire one another. I can't wait till the next one!"

The day's lectures were very well received, with such a wide range of topics from "How to start your own business" to "How to make the most of your Autumn Winter Wardrobe" and delegates all commented on gaining a lot of new and interesting information from the various talks given.

Meanwhile the exhibition's corporate stands were kept busy with visitors enjoying the chance to meet the exhibitors face to face and discuss their various goods and services. As an excellent opportunity to chat with potential clients, all the participating companies were very positive about having invested in a stand.

Alice Barker of The #1 Ladies Website Agency said: "Christine Sweeney did a fantastic job and I thought it was a super Exhibition. I'd certainly attend next year!"

The day was brought to a very pleasant conclusion with a delicious wine tasting, including an extremely interesting introduction to the intricacies of wine production presented by Chateau de la Palayson owner operators, Alan and Christine von Eggers.

And last but not least, everyone gathered for the prize draws of the various competitions and three lucky winners were announced, among them a woman who had flown in especially from the UK for the day just to attend the exhibition. The prizes awarded were: a lovely bottle of wine and delicious 'Panettone' Christmas cake from Currencies Direct; a #1 Ladies Website Creative Bundle -a 5 page business website and video package; and the Grand Prize of 12 free private coaching sessions with Riviera Coaching.
