I love how much I have seen the LGBT community in the Côte d'Azur grow over the past decade or so and how truly supportive everyone seems to be of each other's efforts. The community is really coming into its own and is finally being recognized as a world class, gay travel destination. One of the many such places that I think has helped contribute to the growth of the community by bringing people together is Le Glam, in Nice.

I totally recommend everyone (of any sexuality) check out Le Glam. To me, the atmosphere is one of friendly acceptance. The club has been open for a few years now and is one of those places where you don't feel self-conscious or intimidated by perhaps going to on your own for the first time. You could also go with a number of friends and either way, once you arrive, it won't be long until you are meeting other people having a great time.

Le Glam has fabulous and attentive staff that certainly knows how to handle the crowd with ease while quickly serving your drinks, and it doesn't hurt that they are hot too. The overall mood at the club is one of fun, and that goes for any variety of events that they might be putting on; there is certainly something that appeals to everyone. I love the Pop Star nights, Nice Bears parties, drag shows, and so on, with DJ's such as Mademoiselle Lucy, Sebastien Coda, Tommy Marcus and Ben Crafter to name but a few.

It doesn't seem to matter what time of year it is, the owners are doing a fantastic job of keeping things consistently interesting, being open to new ideas and holding events to give back and help promote community spirit.

Whether your evening consists of checking out a number of nightclubs or you just want to make a night of it, make sure Le Glam is on your agenda!
