Tru Thoughts Gig During Midem in Cannes at the Legendary Sun7

Monday January 25th sees the much anticipated return of the annual Tru Thoughts Midem night. It takes place at Canne's one and only Sun7. The 2010 Tru Thoughts Midem night features a bunch of brilliant up and coming signed artists including FR2DAY's favourite song bird Lizzy Parks who will be doing a live PA of her ambient jazz, soul grooves. Also featuring will be soul diva Kinny and DJ Natural Self with vocals from Elodie Rama (Below - a lovely French lass who recently featured on an album by Hip Hop outfit, Hocus Pocus). Chris Zero DB, who is actually signed to Ninja Tune but currently working with Tru Thoughts on a new project, will also be DJing. Last but not least, the head honcho of the Tru Thoughts record label, Rob Louis, will of course be in the house.
Sun7 is a truely unique Cannes venue with a vibrant indie sprit in keeping with the British record label's image. The bar's owner Thomas, a music nut, has always supported the label and its artists. Entrance is free of charge, cheap drinks guaranteed with a wide selection of reasonably priced cocktails - as well as one of the biggest selections of whisky on the French Riviera!
