After October comes Movember - the Moustache season is back!

October was Breast Cancer Awareness month, but now it's nearly November (or should we say Movember), the month when men the world over grow their moustaches, as a ribbon for Men's Health. Started in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia, Movember is now a worldwide event, generating considerable sums of money for cancer research globally.
The idea is simple - starting on the 1st of November, men start clean-shaven and as the month progresses, let their moustache grow. This month long commitment is usually observed in conjunction with some fund-raising activity in aid of Men's Health, and particularly cancer research and awareness.
Over the years, more than €30 million has been raised for Movember's global beneficiary partners by 650,000+ Mo Bro's and Mo Sista's who have supported the cause since its inception. The money raised as a result of Movember is channelled into a number of world class and innovative education, support, research and awareness initiatives.

So it's over to you now guys! Come Tuesday next, shave that upper lip and get ready to support this great cause for the following 30 days. And to encourage you along the way, FR2DAY has a lovely prize for one of you Mo Bro's - post your Movember photos (one photo of you clean shaven on 1st November and another when the tache has nicely grown in) on our Facebook wall, and whoever has the most 'likes' by the end of Movember (i.e. 30th November) will be the grand gagnant! Face grown, hand brushed indeed!
